At HIXS, younger children’s experience of Physical Education is centred around movement. We release their physical potential by focusing on different muscle groups, enhancing their balance, coordination, and spatial awareness whilst increasing their endurance, flexibility, and strength. We work on their gross motor skills of throwing, striking, catching, as well as ball control through engaging modified sports and drills. Our Physical Education programme is modelled on the American National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) standards.
