Two decades at Heritage reflect a journey of becoming – shaped by a culture that nurtures trust, encourages reflection, and enables individuals to grow with authenticity.
Beginning as an educator, Bindu’s early years in the classroom were defined by a deep love for teaching. Over time, her interactions with children revealed a powerful insight – that learning is closely connected to how a child feels. This understanding led her to listen more deeply, observe more closely, and engage with learning beyond the visible.
Supported by Heritage’s culture of empathy and openness, she found the space to question, unlearn, and evolve – transitioning organically from educator to counsellor, and now to a Social, Emotional, and Mindful Learning (SEML) coach.
At the heart of her journey are the relationships that have shaped it – with students, parents, educators, and the wider school community. Her work reflects a strong belief that when children feel safe, seen, and valued, they grow into reflective, confident, and compassionate learners, and that SEML is embedded in every interaction and connection within the school.
Her journey stands as a testament to continuous growth, meaningful relationships, and a deep commitment to understanding people and learning – values that continue to shape the Heritage community.
